Review by Bee for Midnight Caller by N J Cole

A sizzling masterpiece–that will leave you squirming in your seat.

Summary

Rebecca Summers enjoys pleasuring herself with the curtains open. When a mysterious stranger calls to tell her that he is watching, fantasy becomes reality as she begins to perform for him. Following his instructions over the phone while he watches from afar, she finds herself craving more.
Oliver Durant has always been drawn to humans to exert the dominance and control his kind needs to feel alive. While secretly observing her and calling nightly, he can’t seem to get enough of Rebecca, whom he refers to as butterfly. His urges with her are stronger than the need to dominate, as he is driven to possess her in every way.
Both of their worlds are turned upside down when they finally meet and she agrees to enter into a Dominant/submissive relationship with her Midnight Caller.

Bee’s review.

Wow – where do I start with this incredibly steamy book?

The way in which N J Cole describes Rebecca’s performances through Oliver’s eyes are a pure work of art. Although, we do see different points of view throughout the story. You are taken right inside the story, and feel drawn to Oliver and his butterfly instantly.

The level of chemistry intensifies when the two leads finally come face to face. With Rebecca being blindfolded, I might add. Yeah, if that isn’t hot, I’m not sure what else is, and that’s just the beginning of the hotness in this book.

You watch the lust turn into love as Butterfly gives herself to her Sir (Oliver.)

I have never read a BDSM story like this. With the element of Oliver not being human, it makes it even more interesting.

If you are looking for a seriously HOT story, this is the book for you.

I can’t recommend this book enough. I can’t even rate it, as I would give it over 5 stars.

N J Cole is an author to look out for in 2013.

Review for Surviving Raine - By MrsA

Raine´s dad was shot in the line of duty. The mysterious circumstances around his death were never revealed and it’s all being covered up. Her closest friend, Lindsay convinces her to go on a cruise, using the money she got from her dads settlement.

On the boat she doesn’t have any contact with Sebastian Starke, who is the alcoholic Captain.
The only interest he has in life is drowning his troubled past and memories in booze or a whore for the night.
Sebastian is always grumpy and can’t stand to be around people. He finds his liquor bottle more agreeable than people.

They continue like this until one night, when the boat goes under, Sebastian rescues Raine on a raft.
We get to follow these two people forced to interact under the worst circumstances.
They rescue each other a number of times from different challenges during their time at sea.

He sees her as a potential lay for the night. She’s afraid of him and his sudden mood swings make him unstable.
He just wants booze and she wants to help him. Her never ending questions about his past just make him angrier.

Slowly they both open up to each other and a very special relationship begins to takes form.

It’s great to see how these two change from him not standing her yet being attracted to her, and her from being afraid of him to wanting him as well.

Everything is written from Sebastian’s point of view, which I like very much.

It was a very good read and towards the end it took turns I wouldn't have guessed.

Can’t wait for the sequel to come out to see how the loose threads will be tied together.

I would recommend this book to anyone.

A Review for Beyond the Sun by Sandra Bischoff

A review for Beyond the Sun by Sandra Bischoff

By Jem

Beyond the Sun—a compelling and exciting read with twists and turns throughout that keep you guessing all the way up to the last page.

Handsome millionaire, Jared Bonatelli, has been in exile for the past 15 years since his fiancée, Giovanna, was  brutally attached by vampires. He is a troubled soul who is riddled by guilt and grief, believing that he was the cause of his fiancée's death. The only reason he is back is because the conservatorship (the secret order which has been put in place to make sure vampires and humans can live in peace among one another) has commanded it.

This is until he meets headstrong journalist, Alex Toscano. She immediately catches his eye, and there is an instant attraction between the two of them. He is strong, confident, charming, and mysterious, which makes her want him more.

There is something supernatural that connects Alex and Jared, and they need to work out what it is in time to stop the evil Absinthe from getting her wish and killing them both.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It had me glued from the beginning, and I think it's a perfect start for any young adult reader looking to take the next step. It had it's sexy moments—especially between the vampires—as well as a sweet love story at the heart of the book which will suit anyone who enjoys a good romance.

You all need to read Beyond the Sun. It is book one in 'The Dark Order of the Dragon Series' and I believe the best is yet to come.

This book ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the reader wanting more...
