I'm a reader and writer, and have a tendency to take on more than my brain can handle at times. That can explain my craziness, though. ;)
My passion for the written word intensified when I found fanfiction and all my amazing friends within it.

I love becoming lost in a story almost as much as writing one, and am excited about helping out indie authors, as I know how hard it is to get the word out being an indie author myself.
My favorite genres are Romance and Erotica.
I discovered my love of reading with the Twilight Series five years ago, and haven't stopped since. Needing more to read, I found FanFiction, and then eventually tried my hand at writing.
Although I have only written one original book, I do have some plans to do more in the future. I also discovered a love of editing/betaing, which I take pride in doing. I have recently had the opportunity to work with two incredible women on books that they have published and more that they are in the process of publishing, and am proud to have even a small part in that.
During my time in the world of FanFiction, I have met so many amazing people who share these passions with me, and I hope to continue to do so for years to come.
I had just given birth to my oldest child when my mother told me about the Twilight books. Now, five years later, I am writing my own stories and having a FANtasic time.
I have always had my nose stuck in a book, so
this will be fun for me. Not only do I love to read, but I love to talk about
what I have read. Ask Bee or Jo—I can be mouthy and sometimes forget engage
my filter.
I am looking forward to meeting new authors, reading their works, and
maybe even...writing an OF of my own... We will just have to wait and see.
I’ve been an avid reader since I was big enough to hold a
book. I never went to a single class in high school without a paperback, and I
still go nowhere without my nook. I haven’t written anything, although it has
been a lifelong dream to do that, and I know one day I will. Until then, I make
it a mission to help others reach their dreams of being an author. Through the
Twilight fandom, I have met many kindred spirits who share the same passion and
dreams, and will continue to do so no matter where my dreams may take me some
day.
I have loved reading ever since I was a little girl, and I've lost count of how many books I have read. Reading gives me total escapism from my everyday life. Every time I pick up a book, I’m transported to another reality full of adventure, mystery and love.
My favourite stories to read are fantasy, fiction and romance, but I’m happy to read anything new. I have never written anything myself, but would love to have the confidence to one day.
I’m really looking forward to reading all the new novels that come my way and helping new authors with their books.

My passion for reading started three
years ago when I saw the movie Twilight on TV, and I just wanted to see another
perspective of it. Since then, I can’t stop devouring books and FanFiction
stories! I tried to write myself, but I decided to concentrate on reading and
drawing instead. Drawing is a skill at which I want to believe I am good at.
A year ago, some amazing people found me wandering around FanFiction, and
since then, we've been great friends. I couldn't have met such wonderful people
in real life, even if I tried to.
I love to read romance, fantasy, really anything YA in general.
I'm a reader through and through. I never loved to read growing up, and it wasn't until The Twilight Saga was forced upon me by my niece that it all changed. I read the series and was hooked.
In a matter of two weeks, I had read all the books in both my language and in English, and watched the three films that had been released by then.
I wanted more, though, so I started to google The Saga. I found the Fandom world and with it amazing friends.
It has given me so much and I now love to read—it's a big part of my life.

I read fiction as well as published—mostly Erotica, but some romance, too.

So, they asked for my bio...hmmmm. I’ve been an avid reader my entire life. My husband rolls his eyes and moans when he sees me pick up a book or my tablet because he knows that his wife is lost to her reading until the book is done, lol I love to read and it is because of this love for reading that I found the Twilight series. Well, I fell in love with the characters and didn’t want it to be finished, so that is how I stumbled upon FanFiction. And, my husband lost me to my tablet for a REALLY long time then, lol. I met some amazing writers through FanFiction, some going on to be published and many that help to run this blog. I am privileged enough to help with final read thrus for The Hive’s very own Bee Wilde, and I also do read thrus for NJ Cole.

I’ve been in love with the written word for as long as I can remember. My mother would get so aggravated with me as a child, because I constantly had my nose stuck in a book. I wrote my first short story when I was twelve. In high school, I dabbled in writing poetry, which I totally sucked at. Four years ago, I found fan fiction and rediscovered my love for writing. As of now, I have two works published and three more scheduled for this year.
I particularly enjoy anything in the romance genre, from paranormal to erotica. While I prefer a HEA, it’s not a requirement. I tend to read more New Adult fiction, but don’t have a problem with reading the occasional Young Adult. Basically, I’m all about reading; so, hook me up!
I have been reading my entire life. Even as a child, reading was my hobby of choice and remains so to this day. Being a fast reader, I’ve found, is both a curse and blessing: I can devour most anything I pick up, but then the story ends too soon. I am blessed to beta read for a dear friend and hope to one day ask her to return the favor. I will read anything that peaks my interest, even in the slightest. One look at my book history will show you I love a good series, romantic comedy, mystery or thriller, a little erotica, and my favorite—chick lit. I’m always on the hunt for my next favorite read!

Hi, there,
ReplyDeleteHeather told me she's a part of this blog and to contact you about possibly doing an ARC review for my upcoming science fiction erotica novel, Sleeves. Here's the summary so you can decide if it's something you'd be interested in reviewing or not:
Kel isn't at all the animal locked in a cage that he appears to be. Secrets keep him there, hidden from those who hunt him. But what does a man do when he needs physical contact to survive, but can't stand the burning pain that comes with another's touch? He’s found a way to get a small fraction of his needs met at the nightclub, Sleeves. What happens when he lets in an unknown woman with a healing hand? Casey can see past the vulgar mouth to the affection-starved man hiding inside. When she does, all hell breaks loose, and the past finds him. Will he be able to avoid the agency, or will they add Casey to their twisted experiments? She entered the cage with him, and now it seems there's no way out.
WARNINGS: dirty talk with crude language, anal sex, rimming, BDSM themes, graphic love scenes and intended for mature readers 18+ only.
Thank you!

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI wonder if I may be so bold as to recommend for your review the new Austen-inspired book, Follies Past: a Prequel to Pride and Prejudice by Melanie Kerr. It has been getting exceptional
reviews on Amazon (amazon.com/dp/B00GD76KJY) and you can read
the first chapter, the blurb and a bit about the author on the website: FolliesPast.com. There are also three enticing, film-style trailers that can be seen at that same website or on Youtube.
Essentially, the book is based on the story of Darcy, Wickham and Georgiana, as described in Darcy's letter to Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice. It is intertwined with an original and sweet love
story of the author's own invention and is written in the style and the language of Jane Austen's own works.
Reading it really feels like discovering a long-lost Austen manuscript.
Please feel free to email me at folliespast@gmail.com if you would like any more information, or to let me know if you decide you might like to review it so that I can send you a copy, in your
choice of eBook or paperback or both.
Sincerely,
Mark Castillo
